You have to bring your own basketballs for warmup, the tournament will only provide one matchball in each gym
NBBFs general rules apply with these exceptions:
- Playing time 4 x 8 minutes effective time (this also applies for U13)
- 1 time out per period (unused time outs do not carry over to the next period)
- Referees administer the shot clock in gyms where there is no shot clock (Only applicable for youngest age groups)
- Personal fouls and team fouls, 5 personal fouls and freethrows from the 5 th team foul. Team fouls carry over from 4 th period to overtime.
- In case of ties and the end of game there will be an additional 2 minutes extra period. 1 extra time out pr. OT .In case of a tie at the end of the extra period, there shall be another extra period decided by "sudden death". This second extra period will start with a tip-off mid court.
- The team which stands as the home team in the schedule will use a light-colored uniform and the other team will use a dark.
Several teams:
- In case a club has several teams in the tournament, a player may play on several teams as long as they are not in the same age group, the player is eligible to play in that age group and it doesn't lead to an organizational problem during scheduling.
- Players may not play for several clubs in the tournament, nor are they allowed to play on several teams in the same age group.
Club representation:
All players must be licensed/registered in the club they represent and in the current season have played competition match for the club participating in Silver Cup.
A player that has a licence/registration in any other club are not allowed to participate in Silver Cup.
Fair play
Each team/coach is responsible for the behaviour of the team's supporters/parents. If supporters/parents are causing disturbance or in other ways behave in conflict with the tournament values, the head referee shall stop the game. The game will not continue until the coach has resolved the situation with the supporters/parents.
Group placement:
If two teams have the same points, the team that won the mutual game will be placed higher.
If more than two teams have the same points, the order is decided according to:
1. Number of wins between the tied teams.
2. Score difference between the tied teams.
3. Total score difference in the series.
4. Total scores made in the series.
5. Drawing of lots.
